NOTE: We have reduced the number of field events this week and combined the U6 and U7 on-trackers due to the forecast extreme heat. Hopefully this should enable us to finish sooner, before the temperature reaches 35 degrees (the Competition threshold).
We have still split the roster in to two sessions so that our volunteers are not spending to long standing around in the heat. Please see the attached revised program.
Welcome back from your Christmas break.
This week is Competition Week 10 – Program C and roster attached. Please note that we have moved to a club-based roster whereby clubs are now responsible for allocating duties on the roster. This is because clubs have a better knowledge of family availabililty and previous volunteering. Please ensure you volunteer to help out wherever you can.
Please note that Rosanna is on tent setup at 7.30am and we have back straight, shotput and javelin duties to fill.
As it’s school holidays and many people are away it would be greatly appreciated if you could text Kate
0417477558 if you CAN do a particular duty so that we know we have volunteers.
Otherwise please come to the tent on arrival so that we can work out duty allocations between who is there on the day. We also need you to checkin at the tent for PB ribbons as there are a few to be awarded.
