It’s the centre combined championship this Saturday.

What does that mean??
It’s the little aths version of a heptathlon – but with less events…4 or 5 depending on age. Each event earns point’s depending on how fast you run, how far you jump or how far you throw.
There will be medals awarded to the girls and boys in each age group that earn the most points. These will be calculated and shared a week or so following the event given the time needed to input results.

What if my athlete can’t stay for all events?
That’s absolutely fine – they can still compete in each event they are available for and earn PBs.

This event is the same as the NMR combined championship that has been offered on Sun 3rd Dec so if you’re athlete has fun doing it you might want to consider the region event too!
